Farmstead Camping

Our Farmstead Camping site offers a well-equipped, comfortable base for both large groups and smaller, more private stays. Located right in front of the iconic Rondedak Barn, this camping area features a variety of amenities to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The facility includes a fully-equipped kitchen, an ablution block capable of accommodating up to 200 people, a refreshing splash pool, and a relaxation area for socializing and unwinding after a day of exploration. Large groups—such as those here for 4x4 events, horse riding tours, or family gatherings—can make use of the hall for meals or group activities, with space for up to 100 people.

While there is Eskom power available at the four closest camping spots, the rest of the site offers a more rustic, off-the-grid experience. There are ample braai (barbecue) facilities throughout the campsite, and guests can either bring their own wood or purchase it on-site.

For smaller groups or single families, the Farmstead Camping area offers a peaceful and private environment. It’s an ideal spot for enjoying the walking and cycling routes, and exploring the vast, scenic beauty of the farm.
