Bucklands Guest Farm is a renowned destination for sports enthusiasts, offering exceptional facilities and a deep appreciation for nature-focused activities. We are proud to have been part of the Freedom Challenge MTB since its inception, solidifying our reputation among the mountain biking community. Additionally, we host the Karoo Meander riders on the final leg of their tour, providing a memorable experience for participants.

One of our most unique contributions is as the first water point for the Midnight Express MTB, welcoming riders at 2 a.m. with an unforgettable atmosphere. Picture fairy lights, lively music, a roaring fire in the firepit, and plenty of gees to keep spirits high—it's no wonder this stop is considered one of the best on any event route!

Over the years, we’ve also successfully hosted various mountain biking races and trail running events, earning a solid understanding of what’s needed to make sporting events truly remarkable. Our location makes us an ideal venue for adventure racing, and we’re excited to expand into this exhilarating sport.

Another standout event is the Eden2Addo Great Corridor Hike, an epic and extreme hiking experience we are honored to support. Bucklands also plays host to Herkie van Huissteen’s horse tours, welcoming riders and their magnificent horses for an overnight stay. These visits are always a highlight, offering an opportunity to connect with inspiring people and admire the beauty of equestrian sports.
